Happy, an easy word to say but a goal tried to be achieved by everyone in any form of the other. But what is really Happy or Happiness? Is it being successful and rich? Is it being in love? Is it enjoying time with friends? Is it sex? Can one really buy happiness? And so many more questions I could think of but what is it really?
Wikipedia states that “Happiness is a state of mind or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy.[1] A variety of philosophical, religious, psychological and biological approaches have been taken to defining happiness and identifying its sources.”
Why is my site unlike other creative designer’s website?
Why is my site unlike other creative designer’s website? No radical designs, no colorful executions, or artistic rendering? It’s more corporate than the usual one would expect from a graphic designer, right? Why is it not customized ? It’s like this site does not represent me at all - but in fact it does.
I'm finally moving into the CMS world of websites via Joomla! 1.5. No more dreamweaver or so it seems for me. You see, I started creating websites just using Photoshop and dreamweaver. I would work on the template in photoshop, slice it up and create the html file from there, then open it in dreamweaver to add the contents and whatever i needed to place. It was painstaking to do, especially if you had no knowledge at all of html. But times has changed, now with the advent of CMS everything is just like - add this and your done (well almost to that effect). At first, I was wondering how will I learn this new technology? And what is a CMS? Checking Wikipedia I got this:
Let's face it, who doesn't want free stuff right? Well its been quite a long journey for me and over the course I bumped into a lot of free softwares along the way. It goes to show that just a little bit of googling you might find something priceless and as gratitude for these guys who have made such wonderful and indispensable softwares I decided to post them here.
